Monthly TBR and Wrap Up

How are we already one month into 2020? It feels like we just started this year. This month kind of got away from me (which is indicated in my reading) and I am hoping February doesn't fly by quite as quickly.

To wrap up January ....

The books that were on my list are:

The Goal by Elle Kennedy (goodreads)
Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco (goodreads)

Plus I had some ebooks on my list:

I managed to read four books this month which is not great, but I am hoping to improve this in February.

Infinity Son by Adam Silvera (goodreads)
Chosen by Kiersten White (goodreads)
Madly by Amy Alward (goodreads)
Seduction: Sex, Lies and Stardom In Howard Hughes Hollywood by Karina Longworth (goodreads)

Now moving on to what I hope to read in Feb. It is mostly the same as last month with one new addition (well substitution).

Wicked Sexy Liar by Christina Lauren (goodreads)
The Goal by Elle Kennedy (goodreads)
The Princess Diarist by Carrie Fisher (goodreads)
My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell (goodreads)

I also some ebooks on my list. I am being ambitious again and including a lot of titles that I have been meaning to get to.

Yes No Maybe So by Becky Albertalli and Aisha Saeed (goodreads)

Monthly TBR and Wrap Up

Happy December! It's officially the holiday season and it is time, once again, to check in with my monthly reading. November was a pretty good month, reading wise, for me. I managed to get in more books than I usually do and that surprised me. November is always busy for me. All of my nieces have birthdays in November, and I was especially busy at work. I am excited that I managed to get so much done though.

To wrap up November....

The books that were on my list are:

Into The Crooked Place by Alexandra Christo (goodreads)
Epoch by Jewel E Ann (goodreads)
Cursed by Thomas Wheeler/ Frank Miller (goodreads)
Disgraceland by Jake Brennan (goodreads)
Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell (goodreads

Plus I had some ebooks on my list:

Interference by Harlow Cole (goodreads)

I managed to read five books this month which is more than I have been averaging this year. I am still not sure I am going to make my Goodreads goal but I am happy to be reading more. I read some things from my list and other things that caught my attention (or were for book club) this month.

Here is what I actually managed to read in November:

Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell (goodreads
Disgraceland by Jake Brennan (goodreads)
Epoch by Jewel E Ann (goodreads)

Monthly TBR and Wrap Up

It is time, once again, to check in with my monthly reading. October was a busy month for me at work (and just in general). This means that I did not read nearly as much as I wanted to. I did, however, eat a lot of Halloween candy and watched a few scary movies.

To wrap up October ....

The books that were on my list are:

Cupid's Match by Lauren Palphreyman (goodreads)
Into The Crooked Place by Alexandra Christo (goodreads)
Epoch by Jewel E Ann (goodreads)
The Beautiful by Renee Ahdieh (goodreads)
Cursed by Thomas Wheeler/ Frank Miller (goodreads)
Disgraceland by Jake Brennan (goodreads)

Plus I had some ebooks on my list:

Interference by Harlow Cole (goodreads)
Crier's War by Nina Varela (goodreads)
Desperate Measures by Katee Robert (goodreads)

I managed to read three books this month which is entirely awful. I am going to have to focus if I want to meet my Goodreads goal of 75 books. My reading is not going as well as I want it to. I have been distracted by podcasts, television, and movies. The upside is that I feel more well rounded pop culture wise. I am going to have to find a balance I am happy with though so it is a work in progress.

Here is what I actually managed to read in October:

Cupid's Match by Lauren Palphreyman (goodreads)
Desperate Measures by Katee Robert (goodreads)
The Beautiful by Renee Ahdieh (goodreads)

Now moving on to what I hope to read in November:

Into The Crooked Place by Alexandra Christo (goodreads)
Epoch by Jewel E Ann (goodreads)
Cursed by Thomas Wheeler/ Frank Miller (goodreads)
Disgraceland by Jake Brennan (goodreads)
Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell (goodreads)

I also have one ebook on my list. I am really hoping to get to this one in November.

Interference by Harlow Cole (goodreads)

Monthly TBR and Wrap Up

It is time, once again, to check in with my monthly reading. September actually turned out to be a not bad reading month. I had quite a few books on my list and, while I did not get through all of them, I read more than I have in previous months.

Permanent Record by Mary H. K. Choi (goodreads)
Loki: Where Mischief Lies by Mackenzi Lee (goodreads)
The Grace Year by Kim Liggett (goodreads)
Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo (goodreads)

Plus I had some ebooks on my list:

Interference by Harlow Cole (goodreads)
Everything Leads To You by Nina LaCour (goodreads)

I managed to read six books this month which is much better than I've done in previous months. I hope I can keep the momentum going in Oct.

Here is what I actually managed to read in September:

The Whisper Network by Chandler Baker (goodreads)
Serpent and Dove by Shelby Mahurin (goodreads)
What Us Rise by Renee Watson and Ellen Hagan (goodreads)

Monthly TBR and Wrap Up

It is time, once again, to check in with my monthly reading. It's obvious that summer has not gotten me back on track but I am hoping August will at least show some improvement.

July was a crazy month (as I anticipated it would be) but I did manage to get some books read.

To wrap up July ....

The books that were on my list are:

Finale by Stephanie Garber (goodreads)
Somewhere Only We Know by Maurene Goo (goodreads)
Four Dead Queens by Astrid Scholte (goodreads)
Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo (goodreads)
Transcend by Jewel E Ann (goodreads)

Plus I had a bunch of ebooks on my list:

Serious Moonlight by Jenn Bennett (goodreads)
King Of Fools by Amanda Foody (goodreads)
There's Something About Sweetie by Shandya Menon (goodreads)
Waiting For Tom Hanks by Kerry Winfrey (goodreads)
The Wedding Party by Jasmine Guillory (goodreads)
Crashing The A List by Summer Heacock (goodreads)

I managed to read four books this month which I am pretty happy about considering how much travel I did. I read:

Waiting For Tom Hanks by Kerry Winfrey (goodreads)
The Wedding Party by Jasmine Guillory (goodreads)
Crashing The A List by Summer Heacock (goodreads)
The Evil Queen by Gena Showalter (goodreads)

As you can see they were mostly ebooks  that I managed to read. This means that my reading pile for August is exactly the same as what it was for July. I am hoping August changes that and I have entirely new books. I will be focusing on my physical books this month more than my ebooks.

Finale by Stephanie Garber (goodreads)
Somewhere Only We Know by Maurene Goo (goodreads)
Four Dead Queens by Astrid Scholte (goodreads)
Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo (goodreads)
Transcend by Jewel E Ann (goodreads)

I have some ebooks on my reading list this month as well. Keeping it small so that I can focus on getting some of my physical ARCs read.

Call It What You Want by Brigid Kemmerer (goodreads)
These Divided Shores by Sara Raasch (goodreads)
Interference by Harlow Cole (goodreads)
Everything Leads To You by Nina LaCour (goodreads)
